Dan Polson, owner of The Bug Man, was named President of the Iowa Pest Management Association this year!

Dan has been on the IPMA board since 2019 and was named Board Treasurer in 2021. The previous president decided to step down to pursue further roles in his own company and the board members took a vote duirng the 2022 IPMA Conference to replace this spot.

Dan told his family at the start of the conferences that he had unfortunately lost his treasury position on the board. Little did they know that he had lost that spot because he was about to be named the new IPMA President! When it was announced his family and fellow boards members were so excited for him to be in this new leadership role.
